Mbappé had some room out wide and the opportunity to cut in and threaten the Dortmund goal with Gonçalo Ramos as the lone striker and Mbappé on the left wing.
But the guests remained calm and steadfast. As their self-assurance increased, Julian Ryerson gave them their first chance, but his shot struck the side netting.
